UVic, Elliott Building.
Went to UVic to check out the eclipse. But so did around 2,500 other people. But I was ready! I brought my old childhood telescope with a home made screen attachment that let people
一早到維多利亞大學看日全蝕. 結果現場約有2,500多位的民眾. 不過我萬事具備！我帶了兒時的望遠鏡及在家做的遮板, 可以讓大家好好觀察日全蝕.結果大家都很喜歡！這裡應該有更多的觀測器在這四週.

observe the eclipse. People loved it! There should have been more scopes down and around the building.
I also made a few pinhole cards and boards people could pass around. There were a few glasses being passed around too. Luckily the eclipse lasted long enough for people to get a chance
to use the shared glasses etc.
我也製作了些許有針孔的卡片跟板子讓大家可以輪流使用. 現場也有些專門的觀測眼鏡可以讓大家用. 很幸運整個日全食的過程夠久, 足夠讓大家都有機會使用這些眼鏡來觀看日全食.
One highlight, while looking at the projected image of the eclipse, a jet airliner flew between the scope and the sun, so yes, we saw it's shadow pass right through the image of the eclipse!

出社會這麼久，第一次帶爸媽出遊，
簡單的阿里山出遊，就讓自己焦慮萬分，
